Since we’ve seen the Predator Hayabusa last week, we got more interested about Pitstop Motorsport’s past projects and came to see that the shop has made a tradition from creating scary as hell Hayabusa bikes. This here for instance is the King Kong Hayabusa, a standard bike underneath and a monster outside.

The King Kong paintjob with New York in the background is simply more than we can take, but when this bike is moving, it has New York with it on the tail unit, which is a nice touch as well. The only problem is we can’t spot the beauty anywhere near, but we can only guess it is a matter of time until we do.

We just came across a cool video showing these Lawson style Kawasaki Z1000 and Z1100R being ridden to their limits back in home country Japan. The two modern classic motorcycles are going strong and the professional riders have no mercy, leaving people wondering if this is actually a vintage video or a very well made new one paying a tribute to yesterday’s great bikes.

Top Speed Motorcycles

At first it might look like a tuner got its hands on the Moto Guzzi Griso 8V and raised the stakes in stylish naked motorcycles, but the fact is that the author of this gorgeous special edition model is the Italian manufacturer itself. The changes are simply too subtle: new Tenni Green or Rosso Mandello Red color schemes with a blacked-out powertrain, a stitched leather seat and spoked wheels featuring tubular tires.

In the engine department, revised cam profiles and fuel injectors as well as a larger airbox increase torque from 80 to 85 lb-ft, while the 1,151cc transverse v-twin still can’t brag about developing more than 110 hp. This sure sounds like poor performance for the average sportbike rider, but we will have to say that the Moto Guzzi Griso 8V SE doesn’t even totally meet the standards of a roadster, heading fast towards the performance cruiser category in its own Italian way. Suzuki has presented the 2010 GSX650F ABS, a sporty and now safer road bike addressed to those just turning to motorcycling and in search for a versatile middleweight machine that will prove both economical and practical. The bike is nothing more than a Bandit 650 wrapped in a fairing, but its GSX-R looks combined with the implicit user-friendliness turn it into an almost unbeatable do-it-all sportbike.
